Our loss, Heavens gain.

It’s not a usual thing for me to ask my followers for help, but today a VERY sweet 13 year old boy was sent home to heaven. My step sister Savannah had a little brother, Kyle Henry Abernathy who was 13 years old and battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, bone cancer, for about three years. There are thousands of people in prayer for him and he was supported by wonderful community and family. At 1:00 pm today, July 17th, Kyle went to live with the Lord where he was restored to COMPLETE perfection. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Rest In Peace Sweetheart.

He died, so that we could do the same.

Think about the person on this planet that means more to you than any other person. Maybe it’s your best friend of 10 years, your mother or father, possibly a sibling? If something happened to them it’d devastate you, right? My mom is my best friend in the whole world, and if something happened to her I’d be beyond lost. NOW think about choosing and watching them crawl up a hill carrying a heavy cross, being nailed at their hands and feet and whipped, bleeding to death as they hang on that cross for their “haters” to laugh at. Not EVER would I let that happen to someone that I loved as much as God loved His son. HOWEVER, He loved us so much that he allowed that to happen to his son. ALSO- we are just sinning nobodies, we didn’t deserve the love that Jesus died on the cross for, but God gave it to us because He loves us that much.

Good night and sweet dreams to everyone reading this.

Say your prayers.

Say your prayers, and sleep tight.

a spiritual communication with God or an object of worship, as in supplication, thanksgiving, adoration, or confession.

The definition above was straight from dictionary.reference.com/. Let’s break down that definition. It says “a spiritual communication” but don’t let that fool you. It doesn’t have to be super formal, talk to God like you’re talking to a friend. In THANKSGIVING-  thank God for all of the wonderful things he provides you with and does in your life. It also says confession. To me this means confess our sins, it’s not easy for me to admit when I mess up, but God died on the cross for me to do that very thing. One thing the definition doesn’t mention is just talking to God, or asking for help. It’s okay to tell Him how your day went or ask him for advice.

At the end of the day, PRAYING IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT. God wants to talk to you, be the one who starts the conversation.

Goodnight beauties. *

But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. (Psalm 13:5)

Relate: Free McDonalds for a year. That’s what he got for his actions that day. Charles Ramsey had been walking down Seymour Ave in Cleveland Ohio eating a McDonalds meal when he noticed another man, Angel Cordero, trying to communicate with a panicked screaming woman inside. English not being his primary language, Angel was having difficulty communicating and responding until Charles put down his meal and came to help. The two kicked a hole in the bottom of the storm door and Amanda Berry crawled through with her daughter.

Charles, Angel and Amanda Berry went next door where Amanda made a 911 call saying, “Help me, I’m Amanda Berry … I’ve been kidnapped, and I’ve been missing for 10 years. I’m here. I’m free…

We’re teenagers. They refer to as us lousy kids who are too consumed in our phones, and social networking to know whats truly going on in the world. Are they right? Is that what image we’re giving off? So what if we text our friends, or tweet about our lives. Or atleast that’s how I view it. It is our time to stand up and stand out.

I woke up this morning, ate breakfast, and I’ve been trying to do all of my summer reading work for about 5 hours. I just keep getting so distracted. The craziest things are running through my mind: boys, church, my friends, drama… everything except what NEEDS to be on my mind. In the midst of my distraction, I found this picture that I was DYING to share with my fellow bloggers, and followers, Image

Let your Heavenly Father be the most important person in your life. You might say that’s hard, and I’m here to say its close to impossible. However it’s NOT impossible. Do anything you can to put Him first, let Him shine through you as you walk down those hallways everyday.

OKAY OKAY I MUST STOP. Blogging to my amazing, lovely followers is distracting me from my school work. I just wanted to share this with you guys, because I LOVE you.

Hello love bugs.

Let me introduce myself..

The name is Madeline. I’m a Georgia girl, and I live for Christ day in and day out.

Having said that, it’s a constant struggle to not be that “hypocrite” that walks down the hallways at school. There are so many distractions, I can’t even begin to list them all.

A little about my life.~ I go to the most incredible church ever. It has showed me who I am, and who God really is. I hope to be a medical missionary someday and be able to travel the world curing sickness and also spreading the word of God. I am one of twelve children. I come from what some would call a “blended family”, but I treat each and every one of my step/half brothers and sisters like they are my full blood siblings. I’ve been through quite a lot of divorces, a house fire, have a father and step-mother who are recovering alcoholics, and somehow made it out alive.

My hope is to be an inspiration to any teen who is struggling with staying true to Christ, because I know that I struggle with it on a daily basis. I’m going to try to post often, and hope to be encouragement to anyone who may need it.

Let’s get through these high school years together.
